The Company
Prevcom, based in the Varese area of northern Italy, is a distributor of dietary supplements and dermo-cosmetic products, including pediatric items.
The company distributes its products worldwide, with a significant portion of its distribution taking place in China.
The Need
Prevcom faced two challenges while exporting products to China: providing complete information to digitally savvy consumers and combating counterfeiting in a market with many uncontrolled distributors. The identified solution was to apply QR codes and NFC tags on products to create a direct link with the customer. Prevcom needed a reliable partner for this phygital activity across various product references within a cosmetic line.
The Project
Abilitya continues to provide ongoing technical support to Prevcom, assisting with order placement, programming, and integrating touchpoints with products. Additionally, Abilitya analyses data from the Phygital platform to extract valuable insights and refine engagement strategies.
Through their collaborative efforts, Abilitya and Prevcom aim to enhance the digital experience for consumers, fostering increased brand interaction and loyalty.

BENEFITS OF UNIQUE LINKS
By utilizing unique links for each product serial number, Prevcom was able to identify instances of counterfeiting. Additionally, the ability to remotely reprogram campaigns associated with the touchpoints enabled Prevcom to respond to counterfeiting attempts and adapt their communication to Chinese customers as necessary.
